An unattended quince
Dec. 15th, 2011 10:53 pmThis would be the mumbleth time that I've had to do battle with someone's XML-RPC library and it is still a hateful experience.
There's a longer ramble about anti-foot-shooting security measures that one has to turn off in order to get the blasted code to build at all are worse than useless. 'The code has built-in security' they might say, somewhat smugly. Which won't stop active muppetry from leaving wide open badgers.
See also SELinux and register_globals. The Unix-prodders don't get it right either.
(Yes I am probably advocating K&R C, everyone driving about in rusty (Austin) Minis and forcing children to play outside, nasty reactionary bastard that I am)
