I seem to have bagged an Olympus XA2+flash from Messrs. Ebay's Nastiness Boutique and Emporium of Dreadful Tat. (For a price that appears about par, rather than $ludicrous)

That was careless.

I have a piece about bargain-seeking behaviour that might alienate some people. It came to me, fully-formed, while driving out of Stroud the other week. I'm saving it for a rainy day. Oh, look...

I would also like one (1) count of listening to The Field Mice to be taken into consideration.

I'm still shocked by having acquired a mint OM2, 105mm and 28mm (IIRC), all perfect, for £50 from the local paper a couple of years back. Admittedly I have a sort of ongoing drip feed of Sigma toys now, but I did like the manual Olympus - years ago an OM4Ti was rarely out of my hands.

I have been vaguely thinking about a SLR, but P's Nikon doesn't slide into a pocket the same way the Lomo does. And for £16, it seemed worth taking a punt on a well-regarded compact.
