If you use Eclipse Networking of Exeter as an ISP and ebay, pictishbadgerdesign, tarantellaserpentine, cecimoz and libeljournal are in your address-book, then I'm talking to you.
This is one case, though, to keep in mind that Eclipse do in fact change the IP with every DHCP lease (daily on DSL, two-hourly on dialup). Some people apparently get semi-stable DSL IPs, but we certainly didn't see one.
All the messages had the same originating IP. Which I understand (via out-of-band) is offline for a bit of a clean.
On TW, I had the same IP for, like, ever. Until I changed firewalls ($ork were pitching out PIII boxes. Say what you like about the recent kit, but the boating models (as opposed to the cricket versions) are built like wee tanks) over the weekend.
Oh, I like the recent HP kit. 'Cos it's Compaq, as in heavy DEC influence! The PIII-era HP boxes ... I've gone a few rounds with them. Damnear got my finger ringbarked by one. And it wasn't even SCSI.
