Edit:
In case it's not obvious (and I guess it's not) the finger-in-air plan is to gut a F-P Activity Centre and install the faders & knobs of a standard cheap-and-nasty DJ rig behind the brightly coloured whizzers and slidey-things. Mind you, since the DJ-culture wave has crested and it's a visual joke that only six people would get, it may or may not be worth the effort.

Date: 2004-12-13 05:54 pm (UTC)An alternative might be one of these (http://www.behringer.com/02_products/b-control_index.cfm?lang=ENG) if you were trying to do it in a laptoppy way and add USB. Knobs should port into a toy of your choice.
Also reminiscent of this fella's (http://highlyliquid.com/) handiwork.

Date: 2004-12-13 10:43 pm (UTC)This one's strictly analogue and coming in at under £20 total for bits. (Free decks, 10p for the F-P and a tenner for the mixer. Bargain.)
And they do 'scopes on Ebay. Bastards.
Soldering iron, Dremel, Araldite... Sorted.
