The plan:

hirez: More graf. Same place as the other one. (Default)

Edit:

In case it's not obvious (and I guess it's not) the finger-in-air plan is to gut a F-P Activity Centre and install the faders & knobs of a standard cheap-and-nasty DJ rig behind the brightly coloured whizzers and slidey-things. Mind you, since the DJ-culture wave has crested and it's a visual joke that only six people would get, it may or may not be worth the effort.

See edit. Does that make more sense?

Makes mucho sense.
An alternative might be one of these (http://www.behringer.com/02_products/b-control_index.cfm?lang=ENG) if you were trying to do it in a laptoppy way and add USB. Knobs should port into a toy of your choice.

Also reminiscent of this fella's (http://highlyliquid.com/) handiwork.

This one's strictly analogue and coming in at under £20 total for bits. (Free decks, 10p for the F-P and a tenner for the mixer. Bargain.)

And they do 'scopes on Ebay. Bastards.

Soldering iron, Dremel, Araldite... Sorted.
