What VNV Nation would sound like in a sensible universe.

Actually, it's these people. Juno Records, by the way are lovely and manage to extract money from me with the sort of efficiency I've come to fear from Warpmart, Posteverything and Diverse Music of Newport.

Meanwhile, after escaping from the 'waving bits of paper at small boys' session, I meandered (it's the only way to travel given the sinuality of the roads round there) into Hook to fill up with fuel. I beetle into the kiosk to pay up, and the bloke asks me if I'm a singer.

"Nah, go on. I just hang around with rockstars."

"Bassplayer, then. I knew it. Done any gigs recently?"

Etc...

This sort of thing keeps happening in petrol stations. It must be the fumes that addle their minds.

[ Edit: Bloody hell this is damn fine. If a little unhinged. Curse you, Juno Records! Curse you to heck! ]
