You're assuming that there's some some obvious link between the image and the mood. Or indeed the LJ mood-name and what's going on in my head. If I could change the names of the moods, they'd be things like 'banjax', 'aeolian' or 'plumbob'.
I spent hours trying to track down custom moods - not just customising the image, but the mood itself. Then I found out you can just type a custom mood in, select an appropriate image from another mood, and off you go. Hence, 'fed up' (not in the yankatronic dictionary) can be used to overwrite 'pissed off'.
It happens when I've been around dull people too much. It's the Bogon field they emit, it dulls the senses.
I'll off and order that Burroughs/Gysin film that was mentioned in the Guardian the other week - the small section on the webshite looks dead good, in a sort of warped Avengers meta(de)programming manner.
The docs say 20x20 I think, but I cheerfully ignored that. Though the larger images do look a bit rubbish since they break up the page somewhat. Experiment.
