i) Nothing useful. Got referred by a colleague at work, but hasn't proved any use. Supposedly a social networking tool, but since it has no other functionality nobody is using it any more.

ii) Unsurprisingly we have a load spare at work. Mel has been harranging me for one too. Remind me when I get back from hols (mid sept).

iii) Nice.

Hm. I'm sure it's a lovely place, but...

A cursory poke about seemed to show that all the 'communities' I might be interested in were either moribund or the size and demeanour of usenet.

Maybe I'm the wrong sort of person to be interested in 'social networking'.

When everyone I can think of joined in a flurry, I did find it momentarily useful to find people I hadn't been in touch with for ages.

But LJ combines social networking with, er, being for a purpose.
