Date: 2016-01-12 11:26 pm (UTC)Option two is more obviously hackery because it's cocking around with switches and packets and that sort of thing fits in the boxes people understand.
Option one feels like its an attempt to exploit written language via post-structuralist attack vectors. Which is the sort of thing that's utterly amazing to watch when the likes of @effjayem are doing it.
Attempts to mitigate that sort of attack result in obfuscation like the first couple of paras here: http://ourqueerstories.com/dear-my-sweet-queer-family-lets-combat-femmephobia/

Date: 2016-01-13 08:50 am (UTC)I had talked to Libby about some kind of card-based talk/workshop. Could demo the Hackspace Inventing Cards too. Which is in the right direction, and maybe does help inculcate a certain flexibility of thinking. Any other ideas ?
Which reminds me - going to talk about Project Tarot ? Sell decks ?
