It's just that it all starts early and by the time I've booted projects into submission, beetled in the pissing dark along the canal path, driven in the pissing dark through (Bath|Kelston|Bitton|Oldland Common|New Cheltenham) ... It's about all I can do to slump onto the sofa with a surly expression. Plastering on a smile, fighting my way to the harbourside and remembering not to fall asleep in my pub-grub is usually a bit of a reach.
For people that work in Bristol, it's ideal. And I'm sure there are hardy sorts who make it in from far further afield. [That low hum in the background is my impostor syndrome coming up to speed. Pay it no mind.]
