I mean, the mad idea and chums should be enough, right? I made a thing. It will make part of work less horrible and is a demonstration of remote wossname and making stupid people someone else's problem.

Date: 2013-09-29 03:35 pm (UTC)I am genuinely surprised I managed to cope with work going Horribly Wrong while staggering out of the tail end of a proper grownup chuck-yerself-off-things depressive episode. I would have expected to crash and burn big style, but that didn't happen. And in fact I hauled out of the mess a short story I'm particularly proud of and a presentation-to-hackers that I think I could have done better, yet I also think said a bunch of stuff which is becoming A Thing. At my advanced age it is Fucking Cool to find a set of new things to be good at and enthusiastic about.
