It does, doesn't it?

Once again, I was probably trying to do something else, but that noise came out and I left it.

It's a pity someone's already done "4'33" (Techno Remix)".

This (http://www.spill-label.org/nw/lyrics/computer-world.html) is excellent:

"Linux nowhere to be seen
But our software it is free
Footy mates at my barbie
Pass around a burned cd"

The people who in the old days would be arguing about the merits of different cam-profiles in City Speed are now to be seen in PC World.

Some of us have already observed this. Fluffy dice are now daemon or penguin stickers.

New Waver are one of my favourite Melbourne bands. [livejournal.com profile] bar_bar_ella secured them to play at my 30th birthday surprise party!

I do like your Flob and may run to the garage across the road and sell lots of copies to boys with Vauxhall Novas!

Ta very kindly.

I suppose if Eno can make 'Music for airports', I can make 'Music for coal-fired Novas with comedy tailpipes'.

"Well wicked, etc."

Whoa! Listening to that plus viewing the visual effects of my audio player left me a bit hypnotized (So now what should I do? I'm open to influence).

Great fun! :)

Flobablob! Just the job after a belt down the M6. Can you make eight more like it & call it an album ?

Dunno about 'like' it. Objects of equal incompetence, certainly.

I spent part of the weekend sampling a slew of stereo demonstration records culled from the s/h shop. There's a couple of loops that don't sound like the Tijuana Brass anymore, and The Red Army Choir singing 'Machine-gun cart' probably just wants to be released untouched.

I shall not cease my research until I have created techno bleepy enough to make a tradg*th's head explode at twenty paces. There will, of course, be great personal sacrifice, but the benefits to mankind far outweigh them.

So we're looking at an upcoming '26 Mixes for Spite', then ?

[FX: Hysterics]

Well, that's the album named then.

The name and the length. So, that's scoping taken care of...

Um. If I have to come up with 24 other 'works', it's going to take slightly longer than [mumble mumble] ...

Um. Well, perhaps it would be a mistake to take the title too literally.

Avalanche?

As a wise man said to me recently "we're basically just old ravers, so what the hell are we doing hanging out with Goths?"

I think some sort of intellegent-dance party type thing was then proposed, I'll keep you posted.

Sounds splendid to me.

I did have a reason for mixing with g*ths. It was probably that while the cheesy-quavers were partial to a bit of Bob State, you couldn't find a one of the wee dears who'd acknowledge the existance of Ver Smiffs or New Order and the Fascist Solution. Meanwhile, the g*fficks were a bit more open-minded and the corsetry was better quality.

And being 'into dance' at my age usually means wearing comedy trousers and a tie-dye top. Sod that.

It does? Oh bugger. Pass me the string & dylon.

Actually, now I think of it, the gent in question does sport one of the two. Though your own leg-wear can be a bit funny at times mate.

There's a difference between Camo and Cope. Not much of one sometimes, admittedly...
