I saw the Clash one in the paper this morning (they ran with the headline "For post to the faraway towns" which I thought was delightful). I may be getting those.
That'll be the second lot of commemorative stamps I've bought in a year (I got the Dave Mckean/Neil Gaiman mythology ones too). If I have gluey fingers and a manic look in my eye next time you see me, take the album away from me, eh?
PWEI are dadrock. One of the guys we were chatting to in the crowd at the Ned's gig showed us photos on his mobile of his toddler with the guitar used on DefCon One.
Right. There's rock listened to by dads, and then there's, I don't know, Paul Weller or Bachman-Turner Overdrive or the bloody Eagles. Clarkson-oriented rock.
Just bought a set in the local post office. But when I asked for "six first class stamps" I got a book of generic gold pictures of Her Nibs. How does one acquire commemorative stamps for actually, like, sticking on letters ? I'd have asked the cashier, but there was a nashing queueue behind me.

[1] Which is a bit rich, given my age. Are PiL, PWEI and Big Black dadrock? They must be.
