The other thing that happened this weekend is that I pitched up at mater & pater's with a bag of produce from my own garden.

I'm not sure who was more surprised by this event.

Ha! No bio-engineered slugs mounting defenses against your pruning eh? Still, tastes pretty good, no?

Got butter lettuce, mescaline mix and loads of arugula. Potato blossoming. Made a hash of the corn and cucumbers, but hey learning process.

As you say, a learning process. One with a very long periodicity.
