Realisation: When you read this and think "how's he making a mexican-inspired flatbread snack using a flyer?" you don't live wildy enough these days.

I thought about explaining it, but that would have been sad. I was most taken aback by the way my autonomic system went "Don't worry, I'll handle this..."

The fact that my companion was entirely unsurprised by any of it was somewhat disturbing, though.
