It's a mere 60 miles, that - doable in a day easily without really pushing it too hard. Just keep your cadence within 60-80 using the gears, bring plenty of water (camelbak if you have one), and you'll be fine.
As mentioned 100k is 60 miles, so a London to Brighton Ride, This is quite doable...
Take it easy, don't try and keep up with anyone, definatly not chaps twice your age, as they will be faster than you.. Eat cake or better yet flapjack, and have a good day...
I am in simalar trouble, as I am signed up to do 120miles on the 1st of July, and I currently have a broken arm.. Your be fine however.
