Urgle.

Looking back over dear-lord-how-many years of LJ entries, it's pretty obvious that I go a bit quiet when I've the wrong number or sorts of things on my mind. This tends to put a bit of a crimp in the writing (in the 'fame, beer and totty' sense) and the writing (in the 'inconsequential and/or incoherent rambling' sense), which is in the first instance an unfortunate and rubbish excuse and in the second likely a lucky escape for all concerned.

Anyway. The Diner-thing has had the Bulwer-Lytton start chopped off and something less ponderous installed instead. It's in an envelope with 'F&SF' in the address. God help all who sail in her.

There are also Men furtling with the house. I fully expect to return to a heap of rubble.

Of course, cheap cycling-gear week @ Aldi coincides with not being anywhere near one of the shops. Bum. Ok, I could beetle down to Scarborough on the Thursday AM, but I don't believe I shall be rising at any time before 11 for the entire week. Other than that, I have no particular plan or itinerary.

I would also like a less-annoying earworm than sodding 'Bright eyes'. That also seems to be a feature of an over-revving brain stuck in neutral. Shitpots.

There is an Aldi in Redfield. Although my week is moderately booked up, if you let me know items you want and days they are likely to be available, I'm sure I can do something.

We've had a new Tradesmen's Entrance fitted. The old one had become floppy from over-use.
