I don't think so. There was a k-passa in Cheltenham who were an awful jazz-funk racket. At least I think they were, I was dragged into the place post-pub under false pretences: "You'll like this lot. They're really good..."

IIRC, there's a k-passa in Bristol who favour latin-ish jazz funk. I can't say I care for them either.

Thus that name has come to mean 'Earnest small-town white people with all the funk and groove of Sham 69 murdering ethnic music for other small-town white people ditto.'

I suspect there's one in every town with a 'scene'. Bastards.

Christ on a bus, are K-Passa still going? They played a gig in Freshers week when I first went to Uni and they didn't look like young stagers then.
