See, five minutes after posting that (live from the top of the cliffs with the wind blowing and everything) I was grinning like a fool and having a splendid time.

Yup! I remember that moody cliff-top walk, staring into the night sky with a full on 'woe is me' moment. In the days before posting to lj by text my only comfort was a bottle of absinthe, and the night went uphill from there (although I managed to personally go downhill/stair/cobble quite fast at one point). Hope it was all as good as the good bits!
