No. I'm busily watching it, but it seems resolutely the same. I guess it takes quite a long time for things like thick brick walls to dry out.

Or at least, that's what I keep reassuring myself. And, actually, I think the temporary rug isn't no noticeably sodden as it used to be.

on www.periodproperty.co.uk they reckon it takes months. they have some formula for months per inches, but i can't recall it, and in any case it generally works out as "you can fix it sometime next year", in my case.
