Hello.

In the 'It's just a silly idea' phase, I was going to use a sentence like 'Two would be about right. A big one, and a gin-palace for use as a tender so the staff can get to the off-license.'

However, 'too many yachts'? That's one of those meaningless phrases that the poor in spirit use, like 'too many computers'. What kind of ludicrous talk is that?

Coincidentally enough, Nim is always pointing out that I have *quote* "way too many dvds", to which I usually stare blankly back and eventually reply, "I don't know what that means?"

I have what many might term as "too many" DVDs. I have 28 pairs of shoes. My dear wife has about 80 pairs of shoes and 38 handbags, and over 30 pairs of gloves.

And as far as we're concerned, none of these quantities count as "too many", because we like them. And that's all the justification anyone should need.
