Humppa? The Finnish dance? Have you been whisking some woman in a dtess trimmed with ostrich feathers around a wooden dancefloor with a glitter ball above it?
(The first time I went over there the mate I was staying with tried to get me to go to a Humppa and Jenkka festival!)
Mine's in the back of the car. When it wasn't well hidden, cars would come steaming up in an outside lane to pass me, catch sight of the thing and then tiddle past at 72mph.
hmm, amazingly, his piccie is easy enough to find...
here, for example (http://www.kd85.com/images/wim.jpg)
in fact there's even a way of directly linking him to hummppa broadcasting.. (http://openbsd.default.co.yu/events.html) at some dutch event...
in fact he even hosts the glasperlenspiel website.. (http://gps.tsom.org/index.html)
..seeing as i only know him as being one of the beligan sisters following...
;o)
and i do wish i'd never typed his name into google images (http://images.google.co.uk/images?hl=en&q=wim%20vandeputte&lr=lang_en%7Clang_de&sa=N&tab=wi)

Re: he he he..
Date: 2005-11-14 05:24 pm (UTC)that makes it some dutch event as it isnt "all" dutch events, or "the" dutch event, or "most" dutch events...
"some" is a suitable desctiptor in this case.
anyway, apparently he organizes it....
when he's not busy watching the sisters or building houses or trying to eat spicy curries....
