hirez: More graf. Same place as the other one. (Lomo)

Lomography.

(Features beaches, lighting plants, road-rollers, mud, utter vanity and sunsets. May cause thoughts of wanting to go back there right now. Bugger.)

I don't believe that was Pembrokeshire, there's a distinct lack of either actual rain or imminent threats of rain[1].

In my day weren't none of these fancy steam engines, we had to run't simulation off own electrical fields! And eat our own liquified Gran! And we were glad of it!

Good stuff. I was wondering when the lomo would make a reappearance.

One day I shall buy one.

Ta.

The thing with the four-lens jobbie is... I'm going to construct a real post about this.

They can be found for cheap, mind. $10 from these people: http://tradezone.com/wholesale/product.php?productid=17

If I can find a cheap one in the UK with a flash, I should point it at a gig or club.

i've never quite understood the lomo and it's fans. they're like a plague in the photo world that is never quite stamped out. my (ex) housemate eddie was always snapping away with one of the damn things. he put up blurred photo after blured photo on the walls claiming they were somehow art

*le sigh*

so, why are the ones on one side more blurred than the other? and why the duplicates?

... Because that's the output of the Action Sampler, what takes four shots over the space of a second-and-a-bit and squeezes them into one 35mil frame, and does it through a set of grim plastic lenses.

See more recent post for a vague explanation of where I'm coming from. However, I will allow that 'Lomography'-as-sold-by-the-Lomographic-Society can be a bit rub. Sturgeon's law applies as always.
