Quite.

Though I'd likely d/l the pay-per-view footage via bittorrent.

I don't think the author of that piece has actually bothered to do any more than skim either Collapse or The Long Emergency.
I wonder why he lists the ignoramuses in this order. As Jared Diamond points out, civilizations collapse when the leaders are more ignorant than the public
No, Jared Diamond actually says that civilizations collapse when leaders choose to be the last to starve.
that doesn't make hydrogen a "hoax." A hoax is a deliberate fraud
It is a deliberate fraud in the sense that the only possible hydrogen economy that doesn't violate the laws of thermodynamics is actually a nuclear fission based economy. A few hydrogen advocates (if not the majority) think that hydrogen can be a "drop in" replacement for petrol; it can't for numerous reasons, not least because no common lubricants can survive prolonged contact with hydrogen, and no cars are fitted with pressurized, cryogenic fuel tanks.
The allegation that you can't build windmills without oil is frankly weird.
Ha ha, read the link The windmill was engineered and pre-fabricated in the Netherlands and shipped to the United States in containers by ship, rail, and truck transportation. didn't you need oil to ship it?

I could go on and on but I've too much actual work to do to debunk this cretin any more.
