Quite so. (It seems somewhat redundant to muse on how much of rock&roll is not behaving in a tedious and childish manner, but in doing exactly what you can get away with and no more than that. In the words of the great Dr. HST - don't piss off the help. i.e. - Motley Crue got away with it because it was great theatre and sold an arseload of records. Anyone else will get locked in a rubber room and have white-coated people peer at them through the slit in the door for the rest of their unfortunate lives. Zeppelin got away with freestyle hotel-trashing because Peter Grant followed in the trail of carnage with a fistful of twenty pound notes.)
On Wednesday, I have an appointment to be viewed by a consultant ornithologist. I'm not entirely sure that it would be seen as cricket to pitch up on a bicycle. While I've rarely troubled the NHS thus far, I'm not sure I'm in enough credit to seem to take the piss like that. Your thoughts are, as always, most welcome.
