The longer version looks a lot like 'Though the remarkable march of mobile device tech pleases me greatly from a shiny-toy point of view - the newish Siemens looks like it was designed for Dan Dare - I think the relative crapness of the current set of camera-phones lends them a quality not unlike a Lomo or Pixelvision. I shall miss that lack of quality, since it stops a chap taking 'snaps' and makes one think much more in terms of shape and composition. The feedback loop is also much tighter - one can bang away and try out new and stupid things without it costing money, and you get to see quickly what does and doesn't work. Of course it drives 'proper photographers' up the wall, and the graceless spods think only in terms of absolute resolution, but sod them. They've missed the point.

i have a camera phone. i just dont know how to connect it to the world.

minusbat refused to do it for me after i panicked when he tried earlier in the year... erm.. last year...

so now i am with tripleband superphone with camera and stuff which i occasionally send a text message from or make a phone call to ask if people need stuff from the shop.
