Grass that wasn't 'genetically modified' unlikely to have spontaneously mutated and poisoned cattle. Well, any more than some grasses do anyway.

Most of the articles about this alleged incident are on sites with axes to grind and source the same Telly 'news' article.

In other news, things that are growing in the garden, other than weeds, now include wheat and oats. I am strangely pleased by this.

Most other things seem to have been terminally confused by the fucking climate.

Pro-tip appears to be: Cut and hold grasses back for a few days to disperse the cyanide, which is bonkers for field grazing instead of feed.

Of course not having scorching hot pre-summer heat followed by pelting frigid rain out of seasonal norms couldn't possibly be related to climate change.

Also, what cultivars did you get for the wheat and oats? Sez the gent with crop in a few family-owned plots.

I'm not sure - it appears to be spontaneous germination.

Climate change? In Texas? Didn't they legislate against that? Or was that a Carolina?
