Bad stuff: always nice to wake up with a migraine. On the other hand, I slept the worst of it off, so perhaps I was really quite tired.

Good stuff(i): a splendid letter and photo from the chap who runs the Museum of Victorian Science, which many of you should consider visiting.

Good stuff(ii): I can has holiday cottage in Porthcurno.

Good stuff(iii): The Third Policeman. 3.25 on the lever.

I don't believe that it's really the museum of victorian science.

It's a photograph of the inside of your BRANE.

I fear it's far too well-organised.

What did he say? I keep wondering if we made his day. It was too funny that he had us pose for a picture! Don't know if you saw it but I did post a handful of photos that I took while we were there. Thank you so much for taking us! *smooch*

I hope that others consider visiting him in April. At first I was a bit let down that it was a shed attached to his house that was crammed full of stuff. However, once he started with his jigsaw-like demonstration and lecture, it was really cool. From what I have been able to tell, he DOES have more than the Faraday Museum (just in a much smaller space).

Well, following [livejournal.com profile] hirez telling me about it over the weekend, I'm certainly planning on going next April!

'Thank you for turning up, hope you all had a fine time and here's the picture.'

Actually, here's the picture... (http://www.libeljournal.com/malarkey/science.jpg)

The photo JHR posted below tells it all. The museum is behind us. It is tiny but comprehensive.

If you're keen to learn more, here are
some inside photos I took (http://www.flickr.com/photos/jenditta/sets/72157608760279458/) (use the slideshow option for optimal viewing).

You're just a floating torso--your cammo trousers worked brilliantly!

Then you are planning a visit to the Porthcurno Telegraph Museum (http://www.porthcurno.org.uk/), yes? If so, take pictures please!

We weren't allowed to take pictures inside, sadly.
