I'd blagged it for a while since one or other of the Saabs was being mended ignored by Mad Tim. Since I live just down the road from a school, lots of parents park up at the end of our road or hustle their offspring ditto.

I was half-asleep so I buggered up the starting of the beast, which meant it went 'Boggler k-faf k-faf Blap RAAR!' just as mother + offspring walked a couple of metres in front of it. Small Boy stopped in the middle of the road to gaze open-mouthed, before being dragged off by mother, who gave me a dirty look for my trouble.

I warrant that child will have copies of LRO magazine under his bed these days.
