Tony Martin moment

It looks like Thieving Little Scrotes attempted to break into the garage again last night. It also looks like the sheet of rusty steel tread-plate I accidentally left propped up against the door functioned as an alarm/guillotine and scared the miscreants off. There was no blood on the concrete, so likely no-one will need tetanus boosters...

Obviously I'd be foolish to advocate something terrible like propping a few dead monitors in such a position that careless door opening would make them fall, glass-first, onto the ground where a careless door-opener might have its head or hands. Especially given that aoakley's LJ is apparently monitored by The Polis and damaging burglars is considered Not On.

(Which reminds me - I'd better get my tetanus booster sorted out. It's been about ten years since the last one.)
