Some tractor-puller with more Sherman engines than he knows what to do with builds one into a Mustang. An all-ally 1100 cubic inch plant that's coming out not much heavier than a blown Hemi...

Especially choice is the Youtube link to someone else's Sherman motor. Now that's Industrial music.

I've seen a V8 triked. Twas very cool, even if you did need industrial-grade ear protection every time the engine was started up.

[x] Everyone else seems to have realised I've accidentally written something about halfway between The Avengers and Sapphire & Steel. Would someone like to sell it to the BBC for £CHING! ?

I so want that to be the soundtrack to my life...but I'm worried that if I had that kind of power at my disposal it would rather quickly lead to my demise.

I must admit that I would have expected someone else to come up with such a phrase.

I could also continue the car-spodding and say 'I'm quite fond of their fuel-injection systems myself'

Instead, though: Yes. I have to say I'm not surprised. How are you on Robert Williams?

Love hotrod art. I used to work at a truck spraypainting place back in Oz where the idea was that I'd take over from the chief airbrush artist when she left (bulldogs, leopards, nekkid women etc). Alas, I ripped a shoulder muscle and found it difficult to carry out my tasks:-( I have since painted on musical instruments - guitar bodies mainly - but have yet to bung some flames up the sides of a ve-hickle.

At one point, I was going to dazzle-paint the old 9000 because it's battleship grey and, well, just because. Now it's shagged beyond repair and the replacement's vaguely maroon. I don't know what you'd do to a Saab that wouldn't have the owner's club round your house with pitchforks and burning torches.

God bless Great Britain, but it don't seem to be the haven of hoon cars:-( I feel that a Saab would benefit from soggy-chip-skyscrapers and natty little design-bureau doodles neatly bisecting go-faster '70's yellow, white and orange narrow stripes? Sometimes my fondness for kitsch runs waaaaay away with me....

Quite. There's yer traditional old Fords that end up looking like seventies US kit that's shrunk, purple-metalflake shopping trolleys and, um, that's it.
