For the past couple of weeks, there's been a gang of burly types (Well, one assumes. I don't stare at builders in a speculative way, and they don't stare back. It's an understanding we have.) deconstructing (in the 'cranes and big wagons' sense, rather than the Derrida one. Though the latter would be more entertaining.) some of the Portakabins/Terrapins that litter the site.
Currently, all that's left is the triumphal arch and potted firs that formed the porch/entrance and many rows of stacked breezeblocks.
It looks like the megaliths at Carnac re-interpreted by JG Ballard as a model village. If I find a Dr. Kline up there, talking to a dead Japanese soldier, I shan't be at all surprised.
